About Us

Well hello! My name is Ana and I’m the maker, business and marketing manager, cleaner, machine maintainer and all rounder at Legends and Seams.

Hubby (Ryan or Wifey) and I decided early on that when we started a family, we would like for me to stay at home as much as possible with the babayyyy (IYKYK), so we started the epic journey of setting up a sewing room (shock horror - this was NOT my first choice! I started out making wedding invitations - go figure!). The plan was to launch the business when little man, Alexander (Xander or X for short) was six months old (Dummies!!! Babies are HARD!), fast forward two years and I started doing baby blankets, kids clothing, custom pieces and just dabbling in all things sewing to get my skills up… I mean it y’all… I took on EVERYTHING!

Now, a year later still, we’re ready to streamline a little and create a main focus (being anything nerdy, spicy, scary and bookish), but don’t worry, we still do customs (drop me a line with what your little heart desires and I’ll do my best to make it happen for you). 

I don’t make clothing in bulk, everything is unique, just like you! I work with designers and a local fabric printing shop to bring you truly unique and quality products, because I want you to love what you get as much as I love creating it. If there’s an accessory you want in one of the prints you see on my site, give me a holler, I bet ya I’ll say yes! Why? Because I’m a chronic people pleaser (hahaha) but also, because I love a challenge!
